Part of Covenant Christian School’s mission is to “partner with Christian parents to equip their children to serve God in His world” — phrased a different way — as a school we can play a role in partnering with parents and churches to help raise Christian kids.

Clearly, parents play an essential role in raising their kids to be followers of Jesus, and there are many ways to do this in the home. But sometimes we all need new ideas.

A parent of two Covenant kids, Dr. Jessica Hughes, recently recored a conversation with Pastor Jason Miller of South Bend City Church, about using the Church season of Advent and Christmas to incorporate spiritual practices into the home, and many of the practices discussed are very applicable for children and families to take-up, all of which helps bring kids into the story of the coming of Jesus into his world.

You know how much kids love great stories… so this Advent, help your kids immerse themselves into the greatest story of all….
